I spent a decade building quality and compliance systems for FDA-regulated pharma and biotech. Work where every process has to be instrumented, every signal captured, and nothing important is allowed to live in someone's memory. The discipline was the point: build the system so the important thing cannot get missed.
That is the same discipline I bring to AI systems. Most of them do not fail because the model is wrong. They fail in the gap between a demo that works and something a business can actually run: no gates, no monitoring, no way to roll it back, nobody accountable when it quietly drifts. That gap is the work.
